THE WORK OF STUDENT SCIENTIFIC GROUPS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the guidance of experienced teachers, perform research work, master the skills of innovative activity, development of new devices, engineering analysis and research, computer modeling, work with technical documentation and standards, substantiation of scientific conclusions, mastering of additive technologies, development of competencies and deepening knowledge of the structure and purpose of robotic devices and manipulators, modern control technologies and augmented reality.

At the regular meeting of the scientific group "Industrial Design and Innovative Technologies" (supervisors: Associate Professor Volodymyr Dvorzhak and Associate Professor Mykola Rubanka), all participants registered on the world-famous international online educational platform Coursera. In order to obtain free access to courses for all interested applicants of higher education, e-mail addresses were previously created in the KNUTD domain.

Within the workplan of the scientific group, all conditions have been created for students of higher education for an additional source of knowledge and expansion of their own competences, acquisition of social skills. According to the priority direction of work, students were offered to choose one of the courses on modern methods of computer design Autodesk Fusion 360 to study. It is worth noting that, the successful completion of course and receiving of the appropriate certificate, student has the right to recognition of the results of informal education for enrollment in basic educational components.

Also, at the meeting of the scientific group "Robototechnika" (supervisors: Associate Professor Oleksandr Manoilenko and Associate Professor Yuriy Kovalyov), students continued their work on the study of robotic devices, programmable controllers, executive bodies of machines.

In addition to learning useful skills and personal development, the students of the "Robotechnika" group work with special inspiration on projects that will be useful to our military, in particular, computer modeling of the shape of guiding aerodynamic element of ammunition, which will later be manufactured using additive technologies (3d printing), on the basis of the department of mechanical engineering.

The main task of the group is to attract students to scientific activities, expand their competences in the field of robotics and modern technologies.
