On May 16, 2023, the meeting of academic groups’ curators at the Faculty of Design was held in a hybrid format. The organizer of the event was Oksana Pasko, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor. The moderator of the event was Olena Herasymenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Deans Olha Mykhailiuk, Alina Shaura, Heads of the Departments at the Faculty of Design Kalyna Pashkevych, Danylo Kosenko, Volodymyr Tymenko, Nataliia Kravchenko, and curators of the academic groups of bachelor’s level educational programs "Fashion Design", "Environment Design", "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design", "Design (by types)".

One of the issues discussed was the importance of regular visits by curators to the campus in order to monitor students’ living conditions, organize educational talks about discipline and academic success, and conduct individual work with students. As part of the meeting, curators' reports for the 2022-2023 academic years were analyzed. The curators emphasized the importance of organizing various events and holding conversations, namely of a national-patriotic nature, regarding academic integrity, resolving conflict situations, etc.

The participants stressed the importance of artistic and aesthetic education for higher education students, in particular through visits to exhibitions, museums, and theatres, public lectures organized at the University and beyond; they also stressed the importance of involving students in volunteering, participating in charity events, in the scientific, cultural, artistic and sports life of the University.
