Students of specialties 023 Fine art, decorative art, restoration and 022 Design, on the initiative of the senior teacher of the department of digital art Svitlana Pashukova, visited the unique museum of living Jellyfish.
The museum is located in the very center of Kyiv, here you can learn interesting facts about the mysterious life of jellyfish, their life cycle, influence on human activity and life, how many types of jellyfish live on the planet, which of them are deadly poisonous, and which jellyfish is the only immortal creature on the planet the planet The museum's exotic collection is constantly changing and currently includes more than 20 species of jellyfish.
Each student managed to draw a large number of his own sketches. It's incredible how ordinary graphic materials and a few minutes can turn a dynamic, constantly moving figure into a work of art. It was a challenge for the students – to get out of the static workshop into the complex conditions of the museum, where lighting is only due to the illumination of the aquariums. It was so exciting that everyone forgot about time and space and felt like they were in another dimension. Each spent several hours creating a large number of sketches of different types of jellyfish, trying to capture their beautiful shape and texture.
Sketching develops students' creativity and the ability to express their ideas visually. They learn to observe details, analyze shapes and proportions, understand composition, and use color to create mood. Sketching also develops motor coordination and helps develop the ability to quickly transfer thoughts and ideas to paper. As a result, sketching students become more creative, adaptable and confident in their abilities. In general, sketching is an important development tool that helps them realize their potential and establish themselves as professionals in their chosen field.
