We are gradually reviving practice-oriented traditions by introducing students to the work of the industry’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Recently, students of the specialty 162 “Biotechnology and Bioengineering” of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies visited JSC Farmak. JSC Farmak is a leader in the production of medicines in Ukraine. The company’s modern approach makes it possible to develop medicines for the treatment of a wide variety of diseases: from infectious colds to bronchial asthma drugs, from cough syrups to hormonal drugs, from vascular drugs to antihistamines, from antibiotics to immunomodulators.

Farmak’s products are not just a wide range of medicines, but also they are of outstanding quality ensured by the rules of good manufacturing practice. Strict quality control processes ensure that each product is manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of safety and efficacy: from raw material supply to production and distribution, each stage of the production process is carefully monitored and checked. The tour of the company, laboratories, and workshops was accompanied by the words “according to GMP requirements” – all processes are regulated, described, and subordinated following the rules and protocols. During the tour, the students of the specialty 162 "Biotechnology and Bioengineering" were able to appreciate the extremely professional and high level of drug production at JSC Farmak, to feel that all employees are fans of their work, friendly, professional, and open-minded. We are grateful for the opportunity to get acquainted with the company’s work!
