On May 19, 2023, as part of the celebration of the Day of Science in Ukraine, a solemn ceremony was held to award diplomas and badges of honor to the laureates of the Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine.

The scientific work of the team of authors of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Dana-Moda LLC: Technologies for the protection systems of military personnel: functional materials, composites and coatings" was awarded the 2022 Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine by Decree of the President of Ukraine dated November 30, 2022 No. 808/2022.

The scientific team will continue to make even more efforts to help our Armed Forces of Ukraine bring the long-awaited victory closer!

The ceremony was opened by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksii DNIPROV, who announced congratulations to the scientists from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr ZELENSKYY on the occasion of Science Day.

The head of state emphasized that without powerful advanced science it is extremely difficult to fully protect the state from the encroachments of an aggressor, to ensure its sustainable development and a decent future. It is the professionalism of experienced scientists combined with the creativity of young scientists that expands the horizons of scientific research, makes it possible to set ambitious goals and adequately respond to today's difficult challenges.

The Chairman of the Committee, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Anatolii ZAHORODNII, and Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine D. KURBATOV spoke with words of congratulation.

After the presentation of the awarded works, the state awards were presented by A. ZAHORODNII and O. DNIPROV

Members of the Committee's presidium, presidents of national sectoral academies of sciences, vice presidents of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine also took part in the ceremonial presentation of state awards.
