On May 23, the final of the student competition "KNUTD MISTERIIA" took place at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, where 16 participants competed for the title of "Miss" and "Mister" of the University.

Opening the event on behalf of the Rector Ivan Gryshchenko, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko wished success to the students, she congratulated everyone on the end of the academic year under martial law conditions and urged the students to use all opportunities for their development.

All the participants of "MISTERIIA" competed in five contests:

˗ a Ukrainian-themed fashion show, during which the audience and the jury got to know the participants;

˗ the "improvisation" competition, the purpose of which was to evaluate the contestants’ ability to answer unexpected questions accurately and sincerely;

˗ a home video assignment, which consisted of creating a video on a social topic in which participants had to express their civic position in a creative form of a video up to 1 minute long;

˗ artistic performances that impressed the jury and revealed our participants as creative individuals with a talent for vocals, dance, theatrical art, and even stand-up;

˗ the final fashion show, in which the contestants once again reminded of themselves and demonstrated their beauty, sincerity, and creativity;

The skills of the participants were evaluated by the jury, which included:

˗ Yevhen Kaporin – Ukrainian TV presenter and theater and film actor;

˗ Yaroslava Rudenko – Ukrainian singer and scientist, Honored Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and the Honored Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

˗ Petro Chorny – Ukrainian singer of Roma origin, musician, composer, and actor, Honored Artist of Ukraine;

˗ Kateryna Varchenko – Ukrainian theater and film actress;

˗ Zhan Fedorenkov-Chorny – musician, vocalist, and artistic director of the music band "Black'n'Soul";

˗ Danylo Naidonov – IR-director of the "Summit-Knyga" publishing house.

The presenters of the competition were Liudmyla Ardelian – Ukrainian theater and film actress, dubbing director, TV presenter, Honored Artist of Ukraine, associate professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture of KNUTD, and Valentyn Tomusiak – Ukrainian theater and film actor, teacher of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture of KNUTD.

We thank the participants who showed a high level of creative skill, talent, and originality and revealed unique images of beauty and style. The most anticipated moment of "KNUTD MISTERIIA 2023" was the announcement of the results. Based on the results of the jury's points, we have the following results:
