On May 30, 2023, students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies of KNUTD, majors 131 "Applied Mechanics", 133 "Mechanical Engineering" (Department of Mechanical Engineering) and 174 "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies" (Department of Information and Computer Technologies) accompanied by teachers Serhiy Koshel, Yuriy Kovalev and Yuriy Lebedenko visited the factory of “FARMAK” JSC.                                                      

Olena Kolesnyk, communications manager of "Farmak" introduced the students to the history of the enterprise and its field of activity. At the present JSC "Farmak" is a leading participant in the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine, which achieves the highest sales volumes of medicinal products in monetary terms. The company manufactures drugs used to fight colds, endocrinological problems, gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular and neurological disorders, etc. JSC "Farmak" products are also successfully exported to more than 40 countries around the world.

Yevhen Lysenko, the deputy head of Production unit 1, who is responsible for the mechanical part, spoke about the modern equipment used in the production of medicines and emphasized that ensuring the compliance of finished products with the strict requirements of the standards is possible only through the introduction of automated and mechatronic systems.

Iryna Petrenko, technological engineer of Production unit 1, told students about the technology of the production of medicinal products. Special attention was paid to ensuring a high level of cleanliness in the production areas, which is the key to the production of high-quality products.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendliness and warmth. Students showed keen interest in the possibilities of practical experience and getting a job in the company.
