The celebration of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Management and Business Design of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took place in a friendly and creative atmosphere and once again confirmed the team spirit of the academic staff and students.
On 30 May 2023, a festive concert was held on the occasion of the Day of the Faculty of Management and Business Design. This solemn event gathered many students, teachers, and staff of the University, and it was also attended by students of the college who came to visit Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Liudmyla Hanushchak, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Volodymyr Statsenko, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation, Volodymyr Bobrovnyk, Vice-Rector for Education and Development, Liudmyla Zubkova, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Fashion, Ihor Panasiuk, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, Oleksandra Olshanska, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design were present at the event.
The Rector of the University Ivan Gryshchenko addressed the students, teachers, and staff of the Faculty with a welcoming speech, expressing his gratitude for their dedicated and fruitful work, and his sincere wishes for the further development and prosperity of the Faculty, he wished them good health, happiness, kindness, creative ups and a speedy Victory for Ukraine!
The festive program of the concert "Good Evening, We Are from Ukraine!" was dedicated to the presentation of different regions and cities of Ukraine from the east, west, north, and south. The students prepared short video stories about their cities and regions - those that are currently in the combat zone or are near the frontline and occupied, such as Bakhmut, Kharkiv, and Tokmak, as well as those that are in the rear, withstanding constant enemy air attacks and working for our soonest victory - Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kherson, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and others.
It should be noted that the concert program was prepared by the students and teachers of the Faculty and guests invited to the holiday, who sang, danced, and played sketches from the lives of students.
At the end of the concert program, the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandra Olshanska, who thanked the management for the warm family atmosphere created at the University, in which the Faculty holiday took place, thanked the vice-rectors, deans, heads of the departments, teachers and staff of the University for their friendly attitude and support of the Faculty and wished the Faculty strength and resilience, new achievements and creative accomplishments on the educational and scientific front for the soonest possible Victory of Ukraine. After that, the Dean started the traditional award ceremony for students, teachers, partners, and friends of the University. She was the first to invite the family of volunteers Iryna and Andrii Sakhnatski, founders of the "Delicacies for the Armed Forces" project, with whom the University students and teachers have been working together throughout the academic year.
Iryna thanked all the students and teachers, the Faculty, and University management for their constant assistance in the preparation and packaging of energy drinks and presented the Rector of the University Ivan Gryshchenko, and the Dean of the Faculty Oleksandra Olshanska with letters of thanks.
Also, on behalf of the personnel of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, the Dean presented the Rector of the University with a symbolic Victory Banner with a request to unfurl it on the great Day of Victory of Ukraine in the liberation war against Russia.
The awarding ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and diplomas to the best students and teachers of the Faculty for their active participation in the life of the Faculty and personal contribution to its development.
The final flash mob prepared by the students and the song "FMBD MUST GO ON!" performed together sounded like a powerful anthem of the Department!
