In 2023, the “Microcontroller Programming” scientific club has been operating at the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD).

The plan of its work provides for the participation of higher education seekers of various levels in round tables, conferences of the all-Ukrainian level, and the publication of articles and abstracts of reports.

On May 25, 2023, the regular meeting of the scientific club on the topic “Creation of an electric drive control system” was held in the educational laboratory of computer systems and networks (supervisor – PhD, associate professor V.V. Statsenko).

During the meeting, some issues related to writing a program for controlling a stepper motor using an Arduino UNO microcontroller were discussed. The participants of the club used the specialized Arduino IDE software to write the program code. This project, a computer system for controlling an electric drive, can be used for educational purposes to improve the skills of the participants in the programming of microcontrollers, operation of a stepper motor, and familiarization with the operation of each element of the system.

In 2022-2023, the club members took part in the All-Ukrainian Conference of Higher Education Seekers and Young Scientists “Innovation in Education, Science and Business: Challenges and Opportunities”, which took place in November 2022, and published two articles in scientific and specialized editions of Ukraine.
