In the spring semester of the current academic year, several educational and scientific events took place, in which students of the specialty 141 Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics of the “Electromechanics” educational program of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education participated:

- On April 10-12, 2023, on the basis of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, an open university Olympiad in the course “Energy Management” was held in the specialty 141 Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics and the specialty 144 Thermal Power Engineering. M. Vozdraganov, a student from the group BEM-20, took part in the Olympiad and tested his knowledge of the course. All the participants in the Olympiad received valuable gifts.

- V. Fed, a student of the group BME-19, took part in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the specialty “Electronics”, held at the Department of Electronics, Automation, Robotics and Mechatronics of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”. V. Fed presented the research paper “Modelling of the grid inverter of the hybrid photovoltaic system of the facility with increased power above the power limit” prepared under the scientific supervision of Prof. O. Shavolkin.

- On June 1-3, 2023, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University hosted the second round of the International Competitive Tender of Student Research Papers, which was held under the patronage of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO. According to the results of the competition, M. Dzyubenko, a student of the group BEM-21, received a 2^nd-degree diploma by presenting the research paper “Project approach in electrical engineering education” (scientific supervisor – Prof. I. Shvedchykova).

Participation in scientific competitions and Olympiads provides students with a unique opportunity to test their knowledge, skills, and creative potential in a competitive environment.
