Traditionally, at the end of the academic year, a meeting of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the students at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, summarizing the results of the activities of the Trade Union of KNUTD students for the period from November 2021 to June 2023, was held.

Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, addressed the members of the KNUTD Students’ Union with a congratulatory speech, wishing the students a successful end of the academic year and noting that the activity of the Trade Union of KNUTD students is definitely important, especially in the conditions of martial law. It was also noted that the activities of the KNUTD Students’ Trade Union and the support of the student body are immeasurably important for ensuring favorable conditions for learning and development.

The students also listened to the report of Nataliia Lesiuta, head of the KNUTD Students’ Trade Union, who informed the members of the Union about the results of the work of the Students’ Trade Union in various areas and singled out the main ones.

First, volunteering. Students showed great interest and activity in helping those in need of support. Charitable fund-raising events, collections of New Year’s gifts for the military, and organization of charitable student competitions were organized.

The next direction is mass cultural and sports activities. Members of the Trade Union of KNUTD students distinguished themselves by their active role as organizers and participants of numerous cultural events, concerts, and sports competitions. The students displayed an incredible capacity for self-expression, which has always been an important and impressive aspect of the student community.

Health activities. With the support of the University administration, the KNUTD Students’ Trade Union annually organizes a winter health trip for education seekers to the Carpathians. These trips were aimed at improving the physical and psychological condition of students, contributing to the formation of a healthy lifestyle and support of physical activity among students.

KNUTD Students’ Trade Union continued to work actively in the information and educational field, focusing on the dissemination of useful and relevant information about news, activities, and events of the University, as well as about resources and opportunities that can be useful for students.

At the end of the report, the heads of the trade union bureaus of the Faculties and Institutes were awarded with certificates of gratitude for their active work in the life of the Trade Union of KNUTD students:

˗ Victoriia Liulka – head of the trade union bureau of the Department of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies;

˗ Dmytro Davydiuk – head of the trade union bureau of the Department of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies;

˗ Tetiana Sinkevych – head of the trade union bureau of the Department of Management and Business Design;

˗ Sofiia Podik – head of the trade union bureau of the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries;

˗ Maksym Shevchenko – head of the trade union bureau of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies;

˗ Yevhenii Korzh – head of the trade union bureau of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies.
