MEETING WITH A STAKEHOLDER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND BUSINESS CONSULTING

On June 20, 2023, a meeting of the lecturers of the Department of Finance and Business Consulting, applicants for specialties 072 Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market (Finance, Banking and Insurance, Digital Finance, Financial and Investment Business Consulting) and 071 Accounting and Taxation (Accounting and Taxation, International Accounting and Business Consulting) with a stakeholder, the head of the branch of JSC CB FUIB Alisa Stepanyan, was held. First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) is a member of the group of the largest banks in Ukraine (TOP-5 largest banks in Ukraine according to the "50 Leading Banks of Ukraine" list) and is a universal bank, whose activities are focused on commercial, retail and investment banking operations.

 

The issues of improving educational programs in the above-mentioned specialties were discussed at the meeting. During the discussion, Alisa Stepanyan, FUIB branch manager, focused on the modern requirements for the quality of higher education in the development and implementation of educational programs.

Alisa Stepanyan expressed her readiness to comprehensively contribute to the practical training of higher education seekers: to provide them with the opportunity to undergo practical training in bank branches and provide a basis for scientific research.

A lively discussion was held on the issue of ensuring that the program learning outcomes meet the needs of modern banking institutions.

The meeting was interesting and useful for students, lecturers, and the stakeholder.

The meeting with the stakeholder and the discussion of educational programs were attended by the lecturers of the Department of Finance and Business Consulting: Iryna Tarasenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor; Dmytro Kovalenko, PhD, Associate Professor; Yuliia Rusina, PhD, Associate Professor; Nataliia Radionova, Doctor of Economics, Professor; 1st-3nd-year students of bachelor's and 1st-year students of master's programs (Yurii Herasymenko, Daria Zalutska, Andrii Zaitsev, Vladyslav Haidai, Maksym Studinskyi, Yuliia Gerlinska, Nataliia Havrylenko, Olha Haidai, Yaroslav Kulinich, and Maryna Daineko).
