On August 10, 2023, at the meeting of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, the reports of postgraduate students of the Department who are studying the specialty 022 Design, educational and scientific program "Design", were heard. The postgraduate students presented the results of their work for the year and they spoke about the progress of the educational and scientific components of the educational and scientific program.

Supervisors of the postgraduate students Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Tetiana Krotova, Doctor of Art History, Professor, the guarantor of the educational and scientific program "Design", Olena Kolosnichenko, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Nataliia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor, and other members of the academic staff of the Department listened with interest to the reports of postgraduate students concerning their dissertations, gave advice on how to better direct scientific research, on which aspects of the art research of various design objects should be emphasized.

Students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education presented good results in scientific research in fashion design, graphic, industrial, and subject design. Oleksandr Vasiliev, Viktoriia Vysotska, Olha Tereshchenko, Mariia Vorobchuk, Yevhen Reznikov, Valery Bulatov, and other postgraduate students presented extended reports of their research. All postgraduate students have published articles in specialized publications of Ukraine (Category B), as well as in journals indexed in Scopus, and participated in international conferences.

The Department of Art and Fashion Design has been training postgraduate students in the 022 Design specialty for many years, among whom there are successfully defended theses by postgraduate students not only from Ukraine but also from other countries of the world, for example, Iran and China. The high level of training of the academic staff of the Department makes it possible to carry out scientific research in various areas of design.

Postgraduate students of the Department under the guidance of their teachers work on the following topics: "Book graphics in Ukraine in the 21st century: trends, innovations" (postgraduate student Alla Osadcha, supervisor Tetyana Krotova, Doctor of Art History, Professor); "Communication tools in costume design in the context of professional image formation" (postgraduate student Laura Hovakimyan, supervisor Tetyana Krotova, Doctor of Art History, Professor), "Inclusive design: ergonomic aspects and visual design solutions" (postgraduate student Valeriy Bulatov, supervisor Nataliia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor); "Information technologies as a factor of development in clothing design" (postgraduate student Bohdan Protsyk, supervisor Olena Kolosnichenko, Doctor of Art History, Professor); "The art of jade in the design and national culture of China" (postgraduate student Tang Zhongyan, supervisor Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Engineering, Professor); "Encoded information in graphic design: evolution, trends, compositional means" (postgraduate student Mariia Vorobchuk, supervisor Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Engineering, Professor), and others.

All postgraduate students were certified positively, some were recommended to speed up their work on dissertations.
