On 17 August 2023, a meeting was held between the teachers, students of the Department of Smart Economics of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, and stakeholders of educational and professional programs of the specialty 051 - "Economics": EPP "Economics" of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education, EPP "Corporate Economics and International Business" of the second (master's) level of higher education, EPP "International Business Economics", "Bioeconomics" and "Smart-economics" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarise the applicants with the educational and professional programs and discuss the results of their improvement in the last academic year. Traditionally, the business partner of the Department of Smart Economics, Director of the First Pension Fund Administrator LLC, Olрa Oleksiyivna Luchna, took part in the review of the educational programs. Under her leadership, according to the results of economic activity in 2021, PAPF LLC took 1st place (gold) among Ukrainian business entities in the nomination "Financial Indicators of Successful Activity" and the company was awarded the status of "Industry Leader 2020". PAPF LLC is a laureate of the National Business Rating, based on the results of an independent analysis of the financial and economic performance of 1,206,902 Ukrainian enterprises.
During the discussion, Olha Oleksiyivna focused on the practical training of international business specialists in the context of the European integration of the national economy, namely by expanding the practice bases and their geography. This position was supported by other stakeholders - representatives of business structures Dmytro Komarov, Director of CemExpert International srt, Sede Legale (Italy, Rome), and Serhii Sadovskyi, Executive Director of LLC "Service Solutions Company", who expressed their readiness to provide their companies with the base for internships and to provide access to information on the activities of enterprises as a basis for scientific research, in particular in terms of export-import and customs operations.
The meeting was made interesting by the discussion of the issue of ensuring the compliance of the program learning outcomes with modern corporate governance and international business requirements with an active discussion with Valerii Martsenovskyi, responsible for supporting the educational part of the British government's GREAT Britain program in Ukraine, subordinated to the British Embassy in Ukraine.
The guarantors of the Department of Smart Economics took part in the discussion of the content of the educational programs: Head of the Department of Economics - Doctor of Economics, Professor Anna Oleshko, Head of the Department of Smart Economics - Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandra Olshanska, Head of the Department of Corporate Economics and International Business - Ph, Professor Yevheniia Khaustova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Olena Budiakova, members of the working groups: PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Polina Puzyriova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Zoriana Shatska, as well as students of bachelor's and master's degrees.
