Expanding the horizons of cooperation in the hospitality industry, which is implemented within the educational and professional programs at the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Rector Ivan Gryshchenko and the owner of a network of hotel and restaurant business companies Andriy Svishchuk signed an agreement on cooperation with the restaurant business on August 23, 2023 complex "Fisherman's Нouse" in Kyiv.

The main goal of cooperation in modern conditions is determined, first of all, to train competent specialists in the restaurant and hotel industry, who are able to organize the service and production process taking into account the requirements and needs of consumers and ensure its effectiveness; identify, determine and evaluate properties and indicators of the quality of products and services that affect the level of satisfaction of consumer requirements in the field of hospitality.

During the signing of the contract, it was emphasized the priority of the practical component, the need for maximum adaptation of the educational and professional program "Hotel and restaurant business" to the production sphere. Businessman Andrii Svishchuk outlined the main priorities for modernizing the components of the educational and professional program "Hotel and Restaurant Business" and the curriculum, respectively. During the meeting, rector Ivan Gryshchenko raised the main issues regarding directions for further cooperation, in particular, conducting training and educational classes on the basis of restaurant complexes; stakeholder participation at all stages of educational program implementation; training of teachers for the purpose of improving their qualifications; completion of industrial, pre-diploma practice at hotel and restaurant business enterprises with future employment of higher education graduates; possibilities of implementing a dual form of education, etc.
