The meeting ended with creative greetings from students and teachers of the University’s Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries.
“For the second year in a row, the Day of Knowledge, like other holidays, has a bitter taste of war, but despite this, the holiday has not become less important. After recovering from the shock and turmoil of the full-scale invasion, our teachers mastered their emotions and opened their front – without a pixel and weapons but with a textbook and personal motivation to teach! They continued to work within the walls of KNUTD and recruit new students. I would like to wish that this day will be remembered by all of us for long-awaited good meetings, new interesting acquaintances, student friendship and blue sky over our Pechersk chestnuts. May this academic year be a year of victory on the fronts of knowledge, a year of great undertakings, and may success and the desire for awareness be constant companions in reaching new heights. Happy holiday!” said Liudmyla Ardelian, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries.
And then the hall plunged into the magical power of art. The performance of the students of the workshop of the People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor Lev Somov with the choreographic compositions “Wild Field” dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine, and “Hermit”, made the hearts of the audience beat in the exciting rhythm of worries for their native country, which will definitely survive and win its Victory!
People’s Artist of Ukraine, university professor Oleksandr Vasylenko and a member of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture, Honored Artist of Ukraine, poet and composer Olena Lukashova cheered up and strengthened the Ukrainian spirit with songs.
Symbolically, the concert ended with a performance by People’s Artist of Ukraine, university professor, maestro Volodymyr Hryshko, who sang the Sich Riflemen’s anthem “Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow”, now known worldwide as a symbol of the resistance of the Ukrainian people and the incredible strength of spirit of everyone who grew up and lives in our country.
Let this day be remembered as a warm autumn day of the beginning of a new academic year, of gaining new knowledge for the sake of the prosperity of our Ukraine for us and future generations!
We wish the students and teachers inspiration, new scientific and creative achievements, and, especially, Victory and a peaceful life!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to its Heroes!
