We are actively commencing the new academic year. On September 1, 2023, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) received a working visit from the head of scientific activities at the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy (UEPA), Associate Professor of the Department of Automation, Metrology, and Energy-Efficient Technologies, and the coordinator of the educational and scientific program «Quality, Standardization, and Metrological Support» in the field of specialization 175 Information and Measurement Technologies – Anna HRINCHENKO.

As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, Volodymyr PAVLENKO, and the Head of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies, Vladyslava SKIDAN. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding academic mobility and the development of partnership relations within the existing cooperation agreement between UEPA and KNUTD.

A roundtable discussion was also held with the faculty members of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies, including Oleg NIKONOV, Antonina VOLIVACH, and Valeriia DROMENKO, as well as students pursuing higher education at the department. During the meeting, topics related to ensuring the quality of the educational environment, the content of educational and educational-scientific programs in the following specialties were discussed: 151 Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies; 174 Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics; 175 Information and Measurement Technologies. Special attention was paid to issues regarding the exchange of soft skills, cooperation, and opportunities for collaborative teaching, research, and project activities.

The roundtable discussion aimed to enhance the educational experience and provide students with valuable skills and knowledge while fostering collaboration between students, faculty, and institutions. These discussions are integral to promoting academic excellence and strengthening ties between educational institutions.
