On August 14, 2023, an introduction of the first-year students, future environment designers, took place. The students were greeted by the head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, PhD in Art Studies, Danylo Kosenko. He thanked the first-year students for their trust in our University and the staff of the Department and emphasized that obtaining a high-quality education requires conscientious work from students and consistent fulfillment of the requirements of the educational program.
The supervisor of the 1st-year students, associate professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, Olena Vyshnevska, spoke about the peculiarities of the educational process, the schedule of classes, the principles of the KNUTD modular environment, the division of students into groups, and introduced the leaders of academic groups Anna Nikolayenko, Mykhailo Yurov, and Elizaveta Prasol to the students. The head of the Department’s laboratory Liudmyla Kovalchuk familiarized the students with the technical features of the functioning of electronic educational resources of KNUTD.
On August 17, all first-year students of environmental design attended the general meeting of the Faculty of Design.
During the second week of training, the meetings were held with each academic group separately. The purpose of the meetings was to introduce the student groups. Young people talked about the cities from which they came, about their hobbies, and what prompted them to choose to study at KNUTD under the “Environmental Design” program. We had fun, shared our impressions, and made plans for the coming month.
