On September 15, 2023, a meeting of the scientific circle «Actual issues of private law» (the head of the scientific group O.M. Koval) was held, dedicated to the legal aspects of the use of blockchain technologies in private relations.

The participants of the meeting explored the role of the legal status of cryptocurrencies and tokens. Special attention was paid to heritage in digital form, as well as privacy and protection of personal data. As part of the discussion, members of the scientific group discussed the taxation of cryptocurrencies and transactions on the blockchain, the definition of legal means to prevent fraud and cybercrime on the blockchain.
