On September 22, 2023, a meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design “Know Yourself” was held. The meeting was attended by higher education seekers of the first (bachelor’s) level of the educational program “Psychology”.

The purpose of the scientific club is to improve the level of scientific training of students; to form students’ interest and need for scientific creativity; to develop creative thinking and scientific independence, increase internal organization, and conscious attitude to learning, deepen and consolidate the knowledge gained in the learning process.

The main activity of the club is to conduct research by students on problematic topics of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design outside of class time.

Alla Kolodiazhna, Associate Professor of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design, PhD in Psychology, told the participants of the meeting about the purpose, topics, and work plan of the club. It was noted that the work of the scientific club is creative in nature and fosters the qualities of a researcher, enriches and consolidates students’ knowledge and skills, and prepares them to solve problems of practical importance. Students of Groups BPS-23 and BPS-22 also got acquainted with the works of the participants of the “Know Yourself” club of previous years, with the publications of their research results in scientific journals and materials of scientific conferences.

The participants of the club discussed the work schedule for the 2023/2024 academic year and the direction of its activities. They also proposed tentative topics for discussion at the next meeting, taking into account the work plan of the club. The head of the club, Associate Professor Alla Kolodiazhna, summarized the results of the meeting and wished the students further success in their scientific work.

The meeting of the scientific club was held in a constructive, warm, and friendly atmosphere.
