On September 15, 2023, as part of the activities of the scientific club "The use of modern technologies in the interior" (headed by Ruslan Ahliullin, associate professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design), a meeting was conducted on the topic "Interior doors as a distinct element of interior design". During the meeting, students from the Department had the opportunity to explore various types of interior doors, as well as the specifics of their production and installation.
Special attention was given to concealed installation doors, particularly the popular type of construction consisting of an aluminum frame, aluminum door leaf, hidden hinges, and a magnetic lock mechanism.
Throughout the meeting, participants of the scientific club learned the advantages of concealed installation doors, suitable for use in both residential and commercial spaces. This type of door seamlessly integrates into any interior since it is designed for various types of finishing or decor, allowing for consistent wall and door panel treatments.
During the discussion, members of the scientific club shared their own experiences with different types of doors and discussed the drawbacks of their use.
