On September 19, 2023, a joint meeting was held on the basis of the Central Directorate for the Development and Support of the Material Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the involvement of authorized representatives of the Central Directorate of the Rear of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Central Aviation and Air Defense Support Directorate of the Armaments of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, State Research Institute of Testing and Certification of Weapons and Military Equipment, representatives of the University – Vice-rector for scientific and innovative activities, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, Doctor of Engineering, Prof. Nataliia Ostapenko, teachers of the Department of Fashion and Style, PhD Halyna Oliinyk, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Alla Rubanka.

Current issues regarding the existing material support of the flight crew of the military aviation of Ukraine were discussed. The meeting participants discussed providing military personnel with reliable, effective protective clothing, which will be compatible with other means of personal protection and equipment.

According to the results of the meeting, a decision was made to carry out a joint scientific study on the development and improvement of flight technical equipment of the aviation crew.

The specified topic corresponds to the direction of scientific research by the teachers of the Department of Fashion and Style and the activities of the scientific clubs "Creation of new types of special, production, uniform clothing with predicted characteristics" and "Clothing design using information technologies", which will make it possible to attract students of the educational program "Modeling, construction and artistic decoration of products of light industry" to the important task of increasing the defense capability of Ukraine in the conditions of war and approach of our Victory.
