Students of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies listened to a lecture by the head of the Center for Quality Management of Educational Activities, Professor, Doctor of Cultural Studies Olena STEPANOVA on the topic "Academic Integrity".

Before the start of the lecture, the director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies Igor PANASIUK addressed the students with an introductory speech. He welcomed those present and emphasized the importance of observing the principles of academic integrity for the educational community.

In her lecture, Olena Anatolyivna highlighted the concepts and principles of academic integrity, emphasizing the importance of high moral standards in teaching and research work, pointed out the ethical aspects of academic practice, including justice, intellectual honesty, compliance with copyright, and prevention of plagiarism.

The students were fascinated by the report and received practical advice on how to properly cite sources, how to avoid plagiarism and behave ethically in their research work. The lecture was a great opportunity for students of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies to deepen their knowledge and understanding of issues of academic integrity.
