On September 23-24, 2023, in the picturesque place of the Zhytomyr region, the Korostyshiv Canyon, an outdoor climbing training for the participants of the sports tourism section of KNUTD took place. The section was organized at the University on the initiative of Tetiana Bulhakova, associate professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design.

With the support of experienced athletes of the Kyiv tourist club "Crocus", the participants mastered the skills of climbing in real conditions with an upper and lower belay, as well as tread-climbing, that is, with the installation and use of artificial support points.

The picturesque scenery of the canyon, where the rocks rise directly from the mirror surface of the water, the bright warm sun, and the delicious food cooked on the fire, gave the participants a good mood and they successfully coped with all the tasks.

We invite everyone who is interested in mountain sports tourism to join the work of the KNUTD section.
