On September 27, the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries celebrated International Tourism Day. Rector of the university professor Ivan Gryshchenko came to the holiday with a welcome speech. Who emphasized that: "The main achievements of the tourism industry of Ukraine are yet to come and it is necessary to work hard so that tourism acquires greater dynamism in its development and becomes the flagship of the state's tourism industry. Ukraine deserves a new paradigm for the development of tourism and the hospitality industry in the post-war period."
Stakeholders of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business, Director of Tourism and Promotion of the Kyiv City State Administration Marina Radova, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Yevgeny Samoilenko and Head of the Association of Children and Youth Tourism of Ukraine Lyudmila Stauchan also visited the holiday.
The partners emphasized the importance of today's event, which reflects the desire of students to support the development of domestic tourism through direct organization and practical implementation of the acquired theoretical knowledge. It was emphasized the need for closer cooperation to involve students in solving practical tasks directly at enterprises of the tourism industry.
The warm, unsurpassed atmosphere of the holiday, the leitmotif of which was virtual gastronomic tourism, memory tourism, was created by students and teachers of the College of Art and Design and students of the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries.
