On 27 September 2023, an offsite meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUTD "Design, aesthetic and cultural aspects of graphics in modern design" was held on the topic "Infographics in the modern environment". The participants of the scientific club are higher education students of the educational and professional programmes "Graphic Design" and "Design (by types)" of the bachelor's and master's levels.

The head of the group, Oleksandra Kolisnyk, Professor of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUTD, introduced the students to the latest infographic trends on the platform of the National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery", at the exhibition of projects by students of the National Academy of Arts and Crafts "Landmark Kyiv".

During the meeting, the professor focused on the importance of using innovative, highly professional creative ideas to create graphic signs and symbols of modern city infographics. She emphasised the importance of creative, non-standard solutions that make it possible to overcome the currently irrelevant standardised perception of reality and expand the boundaries of creative search for effective infographics that meet the needs of a multidimensional modern city.

The participants shared their thoughts on the use of innovative infographics in the modern city and ways of its further development. The students also presented reports on the topic "Infographics in the modern environment".

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. The results of the discussions can be used in theoretical and practical research of the club members and in further research on this topic by the students.
