Initiated by Assoc. Prof. I.V. Oleinikova, an extended meeting of the scientific club "Illusions and the Physical World" was held at the Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics on September 25, 2023. Andrii Strelchenko, a 3rd-year student of the BNT-21 group, conducted a masterclass "Basics of Shaping and Modeling". The slogan of the meeting was "Packaging can be different!".
Armed with the simplest and most affordable materials, the club members demonstrated that simple methods can create interesting design solutions. In combination with light effects, the created models can push the boundaries of perception of familiar forms.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the students who had only recently been schoolchildren recalled their school skills and began modeling with enthusiasm.
At the end of the masterclass, the club members came to the conclusion that “magic is in simple solutions”.
