On September 28, 2023, the opening of the only levkas biennial in the world took place at the Center of Contemporary Art “White World” (Kyiv). Two teachers of the Department of Graphic Design, KNUTD, Leonid Bernat, associate professor, and Svyatoslav Podlevsky, PhD in History, associate professor, took part in this biennial. Levkas is one of the oldest artistic techniques, which still attracts the prospects of modern artistic and design reinterpretation. This is evidenced by the number of participants in this year's biennial, which reached 126 authors. The teacher of the Department of Graphic Design, Leonid Bernat, received a special award for his work.
