On September 27, 2023, a regular meeting on the topic "Compositional Features and Color Solutions in Interior and Fashion" was held at the Department of Fashion Technology as part of the work of the scientific club "Textiles in Interior and Fashion" under the guidance of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Liudmyla HALAVSKA and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Tetiana DZYKOVYCH.

Applicants of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education studying under the educational and professional programs "Textile Technologies of Fashion and Interior Space" and "Fashion Industry" had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the chosen specialty, namely, to learn about various compositional features and rules for the harmonious creation of products for the interior space and fashion industry; modern color solutions in textile design.

The students got acquainted with the park of technological equipment used in the production of knitted fabrics and products for the fashion industry and interior design (flat and round knitting machines, hosiery machines).

The higher education seekers also gained new knowledge in their chosen specialty and practical experience working on industrial flat-knitting equipment and made their own samples of knitted fabrics with colored, embossed and openwork patterns. The resulting knitwear samples based on pressed and cross-weaves are currently used in fashion collections, modern clothing production, and interior compositions. The students also got acquainted with the basic and modern color palette of knitted fabrics.

During the discussion, the members of the scientific club discussed the sources of inspiration and the technology of manufacturing products for creating original textile works and participating in various creative competitions.

The creative atmosphere of the club inspired the participants to acquire new professional knowledge and a desire to work with textiles, to create modern exclusive products for fashion and interior space.
