The Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine in order to determine the importance of further joint cooperation on the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of tourism and resorts invited Kyiv National University of Technology and Design to join the working group chaired by Deputy Minister Serhiy Derkach.

The working group included from KNUTD Acting Dean of the Faculty of Cultural and Creative Industries Mikhailo Kulinyak and Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business Olena Stepanova.

The meeting considered proposals for draft legal acts in the field of tourism, improving the practice of applying legislation in the field of tourism, resort and recreational sphere and solving other pressing issues in the war and post-war periods. Serhiy Derkach also proposed a practice-oriented approach in cooperation between the Ministry and applicants for education and their involvement in projects in the tourism industry.

The relevance of the topic of the meeting does not cause any doubt. And such a representative activity demonstrates that the issues that were raised today are important for state policy in the field of tourism, and on the other hand, we, as an HEI preparing applicants for education in this industry, have a clear request and recommendations from employers that already need to be implemented.
