On October 6, 2023, a round table was held at the Department of Interior and Furniture Design with a stakeholder of the Department’s educational programs, Maria Chernenko, HR director of the KRONAS Company. The event was attended by the guarantor of the “Environment Design” educational program of the bachelor’s level of education, the head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, Candidate of Art Studies Danylo Kosenko, the guarantor of the “Environment Design” educational program of the master’s level of education, associate professor of the Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences Tetiana Bulhakova, and associate professor of the Department, PhD in Design Ruslan Ahliullin.

The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects of organizing the production practice of students at the enterprise, the possibilities of further employment of graduates, the employer’s requirements for the competencies of employees in positions in the company. In the discussion, special attention was paid to improving the content of the courses taught at the Department in accordance with the needs of the modern labour market, joint activities regarding the development of non-formal, informal and dual education in furniture and equipment design. According to the results of the round table, it was agreed to conduct an introductory seminar on the activities of the KRONAS Company for the students of the Department.
