On October 5, 2023, applicants for higher education, educational level "bachelor", first year, specialty 075 "Marketing" of the group BMR-1-23 (curator of PhD, Associate Professor Olena Ievseitseva) BMRD-1-23 (curator of Doctor of Economics, Professor Svitlana Bebko) were acquainted with the funds of the Scientific and Technical Library of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design

The mission of the library is to preserve, organize and popularize information resources that meet the requirements of the educational process and research work at the University, to promote the training of competitive specialists.

Leading specialists of the Scientific and Technical Library provided complete information about the funds and electronic resources of the STL of KNUTD. During the interactive presentation, they informed the students in detail about the institutional repository of KNUTD, methods of searching through information catalogs, introduced the OJS platform and taught how to correctly determine the UDC for scientific works, as well as provided an opportunity for students to try to carry out such a search on their own.

During the training, the students learned how to work with the electronic catalog and made sure that by searching the database of the scientific and technical library's collection, they could find answers to almost all the questions they were interested in.

The students especially liked the excursion where they got acquainted with all the departments and funds of the scientific and technical library.

The Scientific and Technical Library of KNUTD as a cultural center of the university takes an active part in the personal development of young people, their education, the establishment of moral values, social activity, patriotic citizenship, the formation of ethical behavior, and a healthy lifestyle.

We sincerely thank all the staff of the Scientific and Technical Library for their cooperation, for helping to organize the acquaintance of students with information culture and providing them with practical competencies in using the library's search engine!
