Despite the extremely difficult circumstances and challenging conditions that our country is experiencing today, this year, thanks to the full support of the Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko, international project activities and international academic mobility of teachers and students have not only not been suspended, but have also significantly intensified.
In particular, over the past two years, the Faculty of Management and Business Design has submitted more than 20 applications for the ERASMUS+ KA 1 and KA 2 programmes, including 17 applications with partner universities from 11 European countries for the academic mobility of students and teachers. With the organisational support of the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko and the Dean of the FMBD Oleksandra Olshanska, Olena Cherniavska, Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, initiated many ERASMUS+ projects.
One of the first successful applications for the ERASMUS+ KA1 programme was a joint application with the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Tallinn), where in September 2023, 2nd year students of the Faculty of Management and Business Design of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, speciality 075 Marketing Kateryna Matsiuk, Nadiia Bulekhva and Dmytro Morgulets, who were selected for this programme, went to study. According to the signed agreement, they are studying at the Creativity and Business Innovation study programme at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences.
Our students were warmly welcomed by the coordinator of the ERASMUS office of the University Mari-Liis Tulev, the head of the scientific department Marina Yarvis and the research teacher Olha Prokopenko.
Our students started their studies immediately upon arrival at the Estonian university, they are studying in English "Sales and market mechanisms", "Public speaking", "Creativity as a scientific field of study", "Teamwork", "Innovation strategy", etc.
Our students were warmly welcomed by their colleagues - Estonian students and students from other countries of the world studying in Mainor.
In addition, on 5 October 2023, the 11th International Scientific Conference "You have been replaced by AI" was held at the Estonian University of Entrepreneurship. And our students took part in its work with great pleasure, attending both the plenary session and the conference sections.
It should be emphasised that the ERASMUS+ КА1 Programme provides students with unique opportunities to study at a European university, communicate with their peers from different countries and, accordingly, cultures, get to know the country, in particular the city of Tallinn, its historical and architectural monuments, attend a major international conference, improve and deepen their knowledge of a foreign language, etc.
Kateryna Motsiuk, student: "This is an extremely interesting experience, the training is at a high level, my expectations were met, in addition to new knowledge, I get a huge experience of intercultural communication, learn new places and new people, and improve my foreign language skills. I recommend everyone to join and participate in academic mobility programmes supported by ERASMUS+."
We sincerely wish our students success in their studies, acquisition of new knowledge and skills, improvement of language competences and, of course, new interesting meetings, acquaintances and friends!
