The 1st and 2nd year students of the Department of Smart Economics, as well as other specialities of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, celebrated World Economist Day, which Ukraine marks together with the rest of the world on 12 October, the day before 9 October. It is worth noting that on this day, lectures and seminars on economics, master classes, and open days at economic educational institutions are held around the world. Economists are awarded certificates, prizes and diplomas, including Nobel Prize winners in economics.

On the occasion of the holiday, students enrolled in the educational programmes of the Department of Smart Economics, as well as other departments, took part in an economic brain-ring. Three teams were formed: "Economists, Financiers and Economic Boom. The tasks of the brain-ring were extremely interesting and varied: teamwork in groups to solve economic problems through brainstorming, economic puzzles, question-and-answer quizzes, and many other tasks. The students were happy to complete the brain-ring tasks, were interested in learning new things and supporting each other in a team game. Most importantly, they realised that being an economist is cool, interesting and honourable!

The team "Economic Boom" won the competition and received a Diploma for the creativity of economic ideas.
