On October 11, 2023, at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, was a lecture for students of higher education at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, about using Artificial Intelligence and its opportunities for IT specialists in Ukraine, by Vyacheslav Osadchy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Informatics and cybernetics, an outstanding expert. 

At the beginning, the dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, Volodymyr Pavlenko, addressed the students of higher education with an introductory speech.

The key aspect of the lecture was the application of artificial intelligence in the field of IT. Discussed the characteristics of the labor market, job perspectives in the field of AI, why AI is needed for designers and IT professionals, and what applications are usually used by IT specialists. The lecturer provided quite a lot of additional tools for coding and code generation and debugging. He noted about popular AI, their pros and cons. Provided forecasts regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of the professionalism of IT workers in Ukraine. He also talked about new jobs in IT with the help of AI and whether AI can replace IT specialists.

The lecture aroused lively interest, because the topic is very relevant and important for modern students and, in particular, those who are interested in IT and the future IT industry in Ukraine. This lecture provided students with an opportunity to understand better the importance of artificial intelligence in today's world and to prepare for the future challenges and opportunities, that this field will bring to IT professionals in Ukraine.

At the end of the lecture, in a question-and-answer mode, the present academic community, with interest, discussed the possibilities of updating educational programs and individual disciplines taking into account the use of artificial intelligence for education.
