On October 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the conference hall of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, a solemn announcement of the winner and awarding of the participants of the competition for a named scholarship from the leader of the domestic pharmaceutical industry JSC "Farmak" took place. The pharmaceutical company organized this competition for the Department of Industrial Pharmacy of KNUTD students studying at the second (master's) level of higher education under the educational and professional program "Industrial Pharmacy".
The event was opened by the rector of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ivan Hryshchenko, who noted that fruitful cooperation between the university and representatives of a powerful pharmaceutical company lays new prospects for the development of higher education and science in Ukraine.
Nadiya Shtepa, the head of the personnel selection and adaptation department of Farmak JSC, welcomed the attendees. She emphasized the importance of supporting the best students and young specialists in the pharmaceutical industry because talented young people are the future and an essential factor in the economic progress of any state. Then, the company representative talked about the students who participated in the competition, the stages and criteria of competitive selection and announced the winner's name.
Anastasia Begdai won and received a certificate of obtaining a named scholarship from Farmak JSC. She thanked the company's management for such support. She was extremely pleased that her educational and scientific activities were highly appreciated.
Nadiya Shtepa congratulated the winner and all other competition participants who received incentive gifts from Farmak JSC.
Congratulations were delivered by professor, dean of the faculty of chemical and biopharmaceutical technologies Tetyana Derkach and professor, head of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy of KNUTD Vladyslav Strashny.
The event was joined remotely by members of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education expert group, who, from October 9 to 11, 2023, conducted an accreditation examination of the educational and professional program "Industrial Pharmacy". They joined in the congratulations and confidently noted that such a project will motivate all students of the speciality 226 Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, to achieve even higher academic results and make student life much easier in these difficult times.
The Department of Industrial Pharmacy staff sincerely thank JSC "Farmak"! We sincerely admire that a new format of cooperation supplements the strategic partnership of KNUTD with Farmak JSC and creates an opportunity to support student youth. We believe such investments will contribute to developing highly qualified specialists for the pharmaceutical industry.
