On 11.10.2023, Oleksii Moroz, Deputy Director of the Babyn Yar National Museum, Marketing Manager at Uvaga Agency, a stakeholder in the specialty 075 "Marketing", spoke at the master class "Development of Applied Recommendations for the Formation of a Marketing Strategy for the Development of Modern Museums". Oleksii gave examples from his practice that demonstrate that the museum sector, using modern marketing and PR technologies, can become attractive to new visitors. After that, he engaged the students in practical work during which they had to identify marketing tools that would help attract new visitors to cultural and educational institutions. To perform this practical work, the students were divided into 8 groups and each group chose its own individual task.
During the practical assignment, the students conducted a SWOT analysis of the institution under study and identified marketing solutions that would help attract a new audience.
The increased interest of the students in discussing modern marketing technologies was reflected in a lively dialog throughout the workshop.
The master class was filled with real cases and facts from the speaker's life, advice to students on their future employment, key skills, knowledge and skills for self-realization.
The students' feedback once again convinced us that such events are invaluable for the formation of future professionals, their self-determination and self-realization.
