On October 12, 2023, the students of the educational program "Apparel Design" together with the curator Nadiia Liuklian, assistant of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, visited the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, where the last week of the exhibition project "Creating the film “DOVBUSH” was held.

The students had a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the process of creating the film "Dovbush" together with the director Oles Sanin. Oles Sanin is recognized as an outstanding representative of the Ukrainian cinematography, director, actor, cameraman, producer, musician, and sculptor, laureate of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko State Prize of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine. His work impresses with its brightness and dedication to national history and culture.

As part of the tour, future designers were able to touch the real cinematic magic, as the exhibition featured costumes of the film's heroes, props, scenery and storyboard originals, which helped to reveal the inner world of the cinematic process.

Each thing and detail at the exhibition told its story, reflected the atmosphere of ancient times when the film "Dovbush" began.

The students had the opportunity to take a close look at each costume, prop and set, as well as see how they looked on the big screen thanks to videos and photos from the set. This interactive exhibition allowed young artists to better understand how images and atmospheres are created in cinema and provided them with important insights into professional creativity in this field.
