On Wednesday, October 4, the Day of Games, celebrated worldwide on October 2, took place. The Trade Union Organization organized it jointly with the NextTurn_Club gaming club. The Primary Trade Union Organization organized the event at the club that operates on the basis of the KNUTD Scientific and Technical Library.

This was done so that our students could enjoy an interesting pastime and new acquaintances. Also on this day, it was very important for us to show the students the wide world of board games and encourage them to dive deeper into this culture.

The event featured a drawing for 4 certificates for any movie in the cinema. The only condition was to participate in a small QUIZ dedicated to games. The questions were very different: What do playing cards symbolize? What do Barbie and UNO have in common? Who invented the folding chessboard? The answers were very unexpected and therefore incredibly interesting.

After the quest survey, the students immediately dismantled the shelf with board games and spent an hour or two spreading out different cards, talking and competing with each other in the most cunning attempts to win.  It was especially pleasant to do this with a cup of warm tea and sweet cookies waiting for everyone at the entrance. The temptation to pour yourself a hot drink is too strong in the cool autumn, so pretty soon each player had a cup of their favorite type of tea.

At the end of this event, everyone was sincerely pleased and encouraged to play here in the future.
