On October 17, a lecture by the leading designer of Ukraine, associate professor of the Department of Fashion and Style of KNUTD, Ivan Frolov, was held. It was attended by the students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education under the educational and professional programs "Modeling, design and artistic decoration of light industry products" and "Design and technology of garments". The students of the Faculty of Design of the "Clothing Design" EPP were present at the lecture.
In his lecture, Ivan Frolov raised painful questions for the fashion industry of Ukraine, regarding the existence and development in modern realities; shared his personal experience of working with foreign customers, the specifics of communication and logistics; drew attention to the need for constant professional growth, familiarization with modern materials and methods of their processing; noted the need for constant self-improvement of the aesthetic perception of the present and the development of a personal stylistic presentation of one's designs.
The lecturer, as a graduate of the EPP "Modeling, design and artistic decoration of light industry products", drew the attention of higher education students to the necessity of studying all the courses included in the EPP, which are a solid foundation of knowledge for the formation and development of professionalism.
The lecture was built in the form of a dialogue with the audience, during which students took an active part in discussing the development of the fashion industry, were interested in the history of the creation of the "FROLOV" brand, the features of cooperation with famous people, charitable actions, and collaborations of the "FROLOV" brand.
At the end, the respected lecturer noted that one should always believe in oneself, never betray one's values and purpose, and wished the students professional growth.
