On 16 October 2023 in the reading room of the Scientific and Technical Library of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, an interesting lecture took place for 1st-year students of 162 "Biotechnology and Bioengineering" specialty. Head of the Collection Storage Department Liudmyla Krekhova told the students about the structure of the library, the universal decimal classification, and demonstrated the most expensive, oldest, and the most "obscure" books of the library. Olena Kotvitska, Head of the Information Technology and Computer Support, introduced the students to the unified electronic library of KNUTD (remote access) and the possibility of using communication channels of the library.
The library staff also presented the students with a selection of books about the war in Ukraine: "I Will Transform" by V. Vakulenko-K., "Non-brothers" by M. Kidruk, "We Will Win with a Song" by R. Lotsman, "Airport" by S. Loiko. S. Loiko.
