On October 2023, students of the first and second year of higher education at the Department of Finance and Business Consulting with supervisors - Doctor of Economics, Prof. Andrii Zolkover, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia Rusina, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Dmytro Kovalenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Batrak, visited Zhanna Kadyrova's solo exhibition "Flight Trajectories" at PinchukArtCentre, which opens with two horizons of Ukraine: one that originates from the past, and the other that drives the present.

The exhibition travels through geography and time, systematically embodying the common historical past that fills the Ukrainian public space. In her work, the artist presents Ukraine as a country in the process of self-determination, giving way to different trajectories that arise simultaneously and often go through acts of destruction or violence.

Students visited all halls where expositions were presented, discussed the past, present and future of Ukraine.

Zhanna Kadyrova was born in 1981 in Brovary, Kyiv region (Ukraine), lives and works in Kyiv. A member of the group R.E.P. (Revolutionary Experimental Space), which arose during the Ukrainian Orange Revolution in Kyiv in 2004.

After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kadyrova created many works that make sense of this event.

As part of the 59th Venice Biennale (2022), the Galleria Continua gallery hosted Zhanna Kadyrova's exhibition "Palianytsia". The stone elements of the sculpture were sold by weight, and the money received was collected to help the Ukrainian army. In this way, more than 230,000 euros were collected.
