In October, Olha Semenenko, the head of the Trade Union Bureau (TUB) of the Faculty of Design, held an incredibly cozy plein air for the University students who wanted to improve their artistic skills, find creative like-minded people, and have fun.
The main location for painting was an amazing recreation area opposite the Glasshouse, located at the Exhibition Center. Here, young artists had the opportunity to hone their skills in drawing drapery, glass objects, mirrors, live plants and even animals, as even a gray cat walking nearby showed interest in this event. Our students were happy to feed the cat with treats, for which it entertained everyone with its presence until the end of the plein air.
Despite the strong wind that took everyone by surprise and the cool weather, the atmosphere at the event was very comfortable and friendly. The students warmed themselves with hot drinks and cheerful conversations. Thanks to the good mood and friendly atmosphere, it was very easy and quick to draw, and the opportunity to hear fair criticism from such nice people was priceless.
The mood at the plein air was so great that the students didn't want to say goodbye after the end, so they decided to take a walk around the Exhibition Center together. The day was very enjoyable and definitely memorable for everyone who spent it with the Student Trade Union.
