In his lecture Dr. Guido Palazzo highlighted key management problematic issues in large enterprises and corporations, such as the basics of ethical foundations in organizational culture and corruption risks.
The lecturer explained on the examples of famous cases what affects the productivity of the company's team and how personal human qualities, culture and the ability to communicate with other people can create «healthy» or unbearable working conditions.
During the lecture, our students learned what corruption risks exist in the management system of large enterprises and corporations and how they manifest and affect the company's image.
Dr. Guido Palazzo emphasized that very often unethical behavior of managers of large enterprises leads to corruption scandals and destroys the company's image.
The students were fascinated by the lecture and asked the lecturer a lot of questions. A lively discussion raised the question of what type of management affects the success of the enterprise's development. To which Dr. Guido Palazzo answered that while researching the activities of enterprises, he came to the conclusion that successful companies are those, where the management acts according to the principle of «listening to everyone».
We are thankful to the Dr. Guido Palazzo and the administration of the Faculty of Managment and Business Design for an interesting, educational and meaningful event!
