On October 31, 2023, a meeting of the heads of academic groups of the Faculty of Design was held. The event was organized by Kalyna Pashkevych, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Oleksandr Vasyliev, Deputy Dean for Educational Work, assistant of the Department of Multimedia Design.
Curators and heads of the academic groups of educational programs "Clothing design", "Environmental design", "Graphic design", "Multimedia design", "Design (by types)" of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education took part in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting considered many issues, in particular: regarding the discipline and success of training of higher education seekers; participation in sports and cultural events, conducting preparatory work before the session by students, etc. The heads of the academic groups Kateryna Danylenko, Maksym Maksaev, Olesya Tkachenko, Ivan Ivanyk, Ruslan Chuhunov and others asked questions about their duties and the organization of student education.
Special attention was paid to the organization of various cultural-educational and national-patriotic events, as well as the issue of academic integrity and conflict resolution. The attention of those present was focused on the study schedule in the first and second semesters, the organization of independent work and the terms of credit and examination sessions; the need to control the connection of all sudents to the IUCN and the electronic journal.
Oleksandr Vasyliev emphasized the importance of artistic and aesthetic education of youth and the need to form the national identity of higher education students, in particular through visits to exhibitions, museums and theaters, public lectures organized at the University and beyond; involvement of students in volunteer activities, participation in charitable actions, in scientific, cultural, artistic and sports life of the University.
