On November 2, 2023, at the invitation of the Department of Finance and Business Consulting, in cooperation with a stakeholder - the European Institute for the Development of Innovation, an open lecture on "Transformation of the world economic system in 2023-2024" was held. Alexander Bujčík, Doctor of Economics, Director of Science at Tuculart Holding (Czech Republic) and the European Institute for the Development of Innovations, Editor-in-Chief of the European Scientific Journal "Clironomia". The lecture was attended by academic staff and higher education students of the Faculty of Management and Business Design (specialties 071 "Accounting and Taxation", 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market", 051 "Economics", 073 "Management", 075 "Marketing", 076 "Entrepreneurship and Trade") and the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies (specialties 081 "Law", 281 "Public Administration and Management", 035 "Philology", 052 "Political Science" and 054 "Sociology").

Professor Oleksandr Buichyk discussed the development of the world economy in the context of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine. He analyzed in detail the monetary policies of leading countries and ways to curb inflation.

The meeting analyzed the activities of banking institutions and the impact of interest rates on economic activity and GDP.

Also, the gas, oil, and metals markets were analyzed.
