The XII Sikorsky Challenge 2023 International Festival of Innovative Projects hosted the Sikorsky Challenge 2023 Competition for Innovative Startup Projects.

Members of the student club “Marketing Club M-Team” (specialty 075 Marketing) Maksym Markitan, Tymofii Boiko (bachelor’s degree) and Oleksandra Soina (master’s degree) presented their SHELTER startup project to the jury.

This year's event, as always, impressed with an extraordinary concentration of relevant innovative projects and inventions. Particular attention was paid to the paradigm of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, which should be based on the rapid and effective implementation of innovative technologies and developments in all areas of security, defense and economy.

There were 200 applications for the startup project competition! The SHELTER startup project was selected for the final round. The finalists of the festival presented their developments and startup projects for four days, competing for the attention and support of potential investors.

According to the results of the competition, the SHELTER startup project received a Finalist Diploma.

As part of the Festival, an international forum “International Support for Ukraine’s Innovative Transformation” was held, attended by 16 representatives from Ukraine, Japan, France, the UK, Israel, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Poland, and the USA.

Three powerful panel discussions were also held:

- "Innovations in the defense industry in war and post-war times" (moderated by Yuriy Yekhanurov)

- "Solving the problems of development of the Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine Innovation Ecosystem in war and post-war times" (moderated by Inna Maliukova)

- "Implementation of modern technologies for prosthetics and rehabilitation of people affected by war in Ukraine" (moderated by Vitaliy Pasichnyk).
