The family of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design received tragic news that shook the whole country – in the fight against the enemy for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine and each of us, a famous poet, talented writer, devoted Ukrainian warrior, sincere, open, reliable friend, graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion of KNUTD, military man, junior sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maksym Kryvtsov (born 22.01.1990) tragically died. An extremely gifted, intelligent, kind, courageous defender of Ukraine.
Maxim is 33 years old forever...
Maksym Kryvtsov was born in Rivne in 1990 and graduated from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. His original shoe collection, Van Gogh’s Dinner, represented the University at many Ukrainian and international shows and events.
A self-sufficient, responsible, caring person, an ardent fighter for the freedom of the Ukrainian people, he took part in the Revolution of Dignity and volunteered to serve in the ATO in 2014 as a member of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps. Then, in 2016-2019, he served in the National Guard. He took the call sign “Dali”. He worked at the Centre for Rehabilitation and Adaptation of ATO Veterans and the JFO Veteran Hub.
In 2022, he went to war again as a volunteer.
He was published in collections with works by other authors. In 2023, Nash Format Publishing House published his first collection “Poems from the Loophole”. Songs based on Maksym’s poems are perfectly set to music, performed by the Ukrainian band “Yurcash”, including "Dominant Height”, “He’s in the Armed Forces, She’s in the Separate Area Defense”, and “Yellow Scotch” (featured in the Ukrainian film “Lethal Kittens”).
On 7 January 2023, a courageous warrior, a talented son of Ukraine, was killed while performing a combat mission.
The funeral service for Maksym Kryvtsov “Dali”, a fighter of the 3rd separate regiment of the Prince Sviatoslav the Brave Special Forces, will be held in Kyiv on 11.01.2024, at 12.00 in St Michael’s Cathedral, after which the funeral procession will go to Maidan Nezalezhnosti, approximately at 13.15-13.30, the funeral service will take place on Maidan.
After the funeral, the procession will go to the burial place in the city of Rivne.
