On January 22, 2024, in the Senate Hall of the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission, Professor Norbert G. Pikula was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (Ukraine).

The award ceremony was attended by Rector of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Professor Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission, Professor, Dr. Hab. Piotr Borek, Vice-Rector for Education and Development, Dr. Hab. Robert Stawarz, Professor of the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor, Dr. Hab. Roman Kokhnovsky, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Hab., Professor at the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission, Lukasz Murzyn, Head of the Disciplinary Council of Management and Quality Sciences, Dr. Hab., Professor at the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission, Josef Mlynski, Director of the Institute of Law, Economics and Management, Professor, Dr. Hab. Andrzej Koźera, representatives of the Student Self-Government, employees of the Institute of Management and Social Affairs.

Professor Roman Kokhnovskyi, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, briefly presented the academic biography of the laureate. The Rector of the University from Kyiv emphasized the merits of Professor Norbert G. Pikula and awarded the diploma. The ceremony culminated in the signing of a five-year cooperation agreement between the University of Krakow of the National Education Commission and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
