WE MAKE EDUCATIONAL DREAMS COME TRUE IN THE CONDITIONS OF MARTIAL STATE IN COOPERATION WITH THE STAKEHOLDERS OF THE UNIVERSITY "TK-DOMASHNIY TEKSTIL"

Trade and production group of companies "Textile-Contact" - the leader of textile manufacturers of the domestic fashion industry, which not only recovers, continues effective work during the war, but also actively improves in the direction of integration of modern progressive technologies and ecological solutions in the production process. The combination of the latest technologies, the experience of the holding's employees, the ambitions of the company's management and faith in the future of Ukraine is a strong investment basis for business in the fashion industry.

Rector of KNUTD Ivan Gryshchenko, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, supported the cooperation proposal of the founder of the trade and production group of companies "Textile-Contact", Oleksandr Sokolovskyi, and the leading partner of "TK-Domashnyi Tekstil", Volodymyr Martsenyuk.

The war changed the future of light industry in Ukraine. Its consequences and challenges for the work of companies today are the strengthening of regional asymmetry in the development of light industry and rapid shifts in the industry structure, provoked by the physical destruction of enterprises and industrial infrastructure, the occupation of territories, the migration of the population to the western regions and abroad, logistical obstacles, changes in product delivery terms , as well as partially by relocation of business.

Today, the shortage of personnel in the industry is the profession of seamstress, which is constantly in demand on the labor market. Therefore, by investing in production projects, the management of "TK-Domashnyi Tekstil" provided a unique opportunity for short-term free mastering for those willing to learn the new highly paid profession of seamstress, under the guidance of real professionals.

Thus, on February 5, 2024, a joint project of the University with "TK-Home Textiles" called "School of Seamstresses" was launched on the basis of the production facilities of LLC "TK-Home Textiles". The project provides for the training of those interested under the guidance of experienced masters of KNUTD, where they will get acquainted with the theoretical and practical side of the work of a seamstress, learn the basics of the profession, in particular, performing manual and machine operations for joining sections, parts on industrial sewing machines.

The ceremonial opening was opened by Oleksandr Sokolovsky, who emphasized the continuous technological development of light industry enterprises, the renewal of production equipment, the expansion of the range of materials, product processing technologies and, as a result, the need for highly qualified specialists in production. Also, Ivan Hryshchenko addressed the audience with a congratulatory speech and noted that the process of personnel training should take place in close cooperation between educators and employers, since the trends in the innovative development of enterprises in the industry in the conditions of the globalization processes of the economy and rapid technologization significantly change the competitive environment on the labor market and form new challenges regarding professional skills.

The event was held with representatives of the university: Lyudmila Hanushchak-Efimenko, vice-rector for scientific and innovative activities of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, professor, laureate of the Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine; Nataliya Ostapenko, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor; Borys Zlotenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, PhD, Professor. The event was also attended by Oleksandr Dmytrenko, director of "Textile-Contact", Valery Rybas, director of "TK-Furniture" and representatives of USAID "Competitive Economy of Ukraine", Iryna Garbuz, Smart people Taras Komarenko.

Recruitment of those willing, regardless of age, status, experience, took place at the initiative of "TK-Domashnyi Tekstil". The training course is designed for ten days in order to learn the simplest skills of sewing from different materials, adjusting thread tension and stitch frequency, various methods of processing details, knots, etc.

Such examples of the leaders of the Ukrainian fashion industry investing in production projects despite full-scale military aggression and economic crisis are fascinating and inspiring, and are an example of indomitability and constant movement forward.
